Abstract
A novel series of β-carboline linked amide derivatives is synthesized. The compounds are screened for their anticancer activity against MCF-7 (breast), A549 (lung), Colo-205 (colon), and A2780 (ovarian) cancer cell lines. The compounds 12b and 12h demonstrate the activity higher than the standard drug etoposide.
