Modeling the Transformation of Hexactinal Folded Structure

Abstract

A mathematical model is developed to study the transformation of hexactinal folded structures. Equations for calculation of the structure element pathways during transformation are obtained based on the vector analysis methods. An algorithm is presented together with a model problem solution.
