Slide Current Collection with Disulfide Lubricant in High-Speed Transport Systems

Kim K., Panychev A., Blazhko L., Kolesova A.

Resumo

A solid lubricant based on molybdenum disulfide is proposed for use in reducing the wear of the contact strip in the pantograph of high-speed railroad vehicles and the overhead conductor. This article also considers the impact of MHD force generated under the influence of the lubricant and electromagnetic field in the contact zone on the characteristics of current collection such as the slide contact transient voltage and the distributed current density under the contact strip. The optimal gap between the contact strip and the overhead conductor is determined, which is conditioned by the lubricant amount supplied to the contact zone. The technique recommended on the basis of the derived equations to reduce the repulsive MHD force consists in controlling the force of pressing the additional molybdenum disulfide strip provided the electrical and mechanical losses in the contact are minimal.

An Automatic Electromechanical Drive for Carriage Doors

Kim K., Ivanov S., Gorbunov A., Titova T., Nikitin V., Kiselev I.

Resumo

This paper considers the application of a carriage door electric drive based on sealed electromechanical ac converters with a linearly moving actuator of the traction gear for protection against unauthorized access to the carriage. Not only does the drive deliver high specific performance, but it also makes possible controlled access to the carriage. It is shown that the sealed electromechanical converters used for these purposes make transport systems more reliable and ergonomic. This article also presents the results of modeling the electric drive control system by fuzzy techniques that make the control process more efficient and improve the resistance to operator-assigned factors.

An Intelligent Wheelset Spinning Detection System in a Direct Current Traction Drive

Grachev V., Grishchenko A., Kruchek V., Andreev V., Kim S., Fedotov M.

Resumo

A spinning detection method of a locomotive wheelset in a dc traction drive and its implementation on the basis of intelligent processing of measuring data of the drive control system is considered. An increase in the amplitudes of the low-frequency harmonics of the voltage sensor output signal on the locomotive power circuit elements is used as a sign of loss of motion stability of the wheelset due to reaching the threshold wheel–rail adhesion. For automatic multilevel identification of spinning modes, a random forest algorithm-based classifier is used. The results of the analysis of the control power circuit parameters preindicated by experts show the high sensitivity and accuracy of the proposed intelligent spinning detection system.

Mathematical Simulation of Electrical Interference of a 24-kV Direct-Current Traction Network on Adjacent Lines

Marikin A., Mushkov E., Ivanov M., Agunov A., Ivanov I.

Resumo

A Simulink model has been developed of a dc traction power-supply system with voltages of 3 and 24 kV containing all links of traction network that need to be taken into account when analyzing the electromagnetic compatibility of 3- and 24-kV dc traction network with adjacent lines. The parameters of the links of this network are determined. The electrical interferences of a 3- and 24-kV dc traction power-supply system on adjacent lines was compared. The model makes it possible to determine the electromagnetic compatibility of a traction power-supply system with adjacent lines.

An Intelligent System for Electronic Support of Transit and Sanctioned Cargo

Zaitsev A., Krylov A., Romen Y., Urushev S.

Resumo

On the basis of an analysis of world and domestic experience, it is shown that an electrotechnical complex (EC) needs to be created for management of basic parameters in transportation process for increase of efficiency and safety of transportations and safety of the transported freights allowing one to carry out continuous control of a condition of the rolling stock and the transported freight in the real-time mode. On the basis of the formulated functional and technical requirements, an EC was developed consisting of a mechanical and electronic module providing mechanical and electronic sealing of transportation facilities. The principle of an EC based on the use of filters with finite impulse response was determined.

Modern Locomotive Traction Drive Control Systems

Burkov A., Valinsky O., Evstaf’ev A., Maznev A., Tretyakov A.

Resumo

The increasingly strict requirements that are being placed on transportation safety and traction rolling stock automation makes necessary the development of microprocessor-based control systems. Currently, a significant part of the locomotive fleet uses a rheostat–contactor traction motor control system that was developed more than a century ago, and the use of accelerating resistors is leading to significant losses of electricity. This control system functionality does not correspond to the current technological level. This paper considers the use of digital control systems for electric rolling stock and their advantages. It is shown that the use of digital technologies in the design of traction drive power converters will significantly increase the energy efficiency of the converters, reduce the number of components and increase the traction drive reliability.

A Model of a Combined Electric Drive for a Dynamic Advertising Structure

Korneev N., Yanitskiy A.

Resumo

A generalized mathematical model of a combined electric drive of a dynamic advertising structure taking into account the impact of dynamic wind load is proposed. A plane model of wind forcing is considered and the edge of the prism of a dynamic advertising structure is approximated by a swing with moving load, the mass–dynamic characteristics of which are proportional to the moment of resistance of electric drive. The principles of regulation of a combined electric drive for the modes of positioning and changing prism sides and for tracking and emergency modes. To stabilize electric drive motion under conditions of high dynamic parameters of operating element motion, which are caused by instability of wind load, a digital model of an intellectual control system by combined electric drive with a fuzzy controller was developed that makes it possible to use an approximate signal adaptation with an additional control signal that is applied to the input of the circuit of the digital model of a combined electric drive and has a corrective effect on changes in the electric drive moment. Simulation of intelligent control systems with a certain adjustment of a fuzzy controller revealed a high quality of electric drive regulation under the conditions of an effect of dynamic wind load.
