Resumo
It has been shown that the reinforcement of fluorine-containing thermoplastic polymers by carbon fibers enables a significant reduction (five- to tenfold) in their wear rate compared to steel in a mode that simulates the performance of stop valves under the conditions of dry friction with heavy loads. A positive effect has been observed for reinforcement by carbon fibers under the conditions of boundary lubrication by oil, but to a lesser degree (twofold increase in wear resistance).
