Колебания периодических систем, состоящих из одинаковых подсистем произвольной структуры

Abstract

Исследуются колебания и волны в периодических системах, образованных одинаковыми подсистемами, имеющими произвольную структуру. Найдены спектральные закономерности для таких систем. Показано, что их дисперсионные кривые состоят из ветвей, каждая из которых отвечает своей форме упругих колебаний подсистемы. Выявлено наличие в таких системах полос непропускания гармонического сигнала, найдены их границы. Получены формы колебаний в различных частотных диапазонах. Показано, что в системе возникают модулированные волны за счет модуляции низшими частотами, которые соответствуют колебаниям системы без учета упругих свойств составляющих подсистем.

The Influence of Temperature on the Mechanical Properties of the Surface Layer of a Radiationally Strengthened Fluoropolymer

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of temperature on the mechanical properties of a fluoropolymer treated by λ irradiation above the melting point. The statement of the high efficiency of this strengthening technology on the tribological properties of the fluoropolymer–steel friction pair is substantiated. The changes in mechanical properties in a thin surface layer of the fluoropolymer as a consequence of heating to 400°C are studied using kinetic microindentation. The material hardness, elasticity modulus, total work of indentation, and its elastic constituent are analyzed. It is proposed to apply friction pairs containing radiationally strengthened fluoropolymer parts in the axial piston pumps of hydraulic systems in order to increase the probability of faultless operation.

Role of the Pulse Current Duty Cycle during Titanium Tension

Abstract

The effect of a pulsed current on titanium tensile deformation obtained by postdeformation annealing after cold rolling of the coarse-grained and ultrafine-grained states has been considered. The effect of the duty cycle of the pulse current over a wide range on the shape of the stress–strain curves and mechanical properties has been studied. It is shown that an increase in the duty cycle results in an enhancement in the thermal effect of the current and a decrease in the flow stresses, strength, and plasticity, as well as in intense necking. A decrease in the duty cycle leads to the absence of heating and the occurrence of the electroplastic effect and an increase in the strength and plasticity, which depends on the structural state of coarse-grained titanium and the method of titanium production. The possible physical mechanisms of hardening associated with twinning, strain aging, and low-cycle fatigue have been considered.

A Fracture Criterion with Biaxial Constraints of Deformations along the Front of a Normal Rupture Crack

Abstract

In this article, a new fracture criterion is formulated for a normal rupture crack, the most common in practice, based on the assumption that the tangential stresses in the prefracture zone are equal to the local strength of the material. In this case, the size of the prefracture area and the local strength are determined taking into account the nonsingular Тхx and Тzz stresses included in the asymptotic stress distribution according to Williams and characterizing the two-dimensional local constraint of deformation along the crack front in three-dimensional bodies. An expression for the effective stress intensity factor is obtained. In addition to the classical stress intensity factor, it includes the ratios of the Тxx and Тzz stresses to the yield strength. This makes it possible to take into account the restriction of deformations in the transverse (due to Тxx stresses) and longitudinal (due to Тzz stresses) directions in the vicinity of the crack front. Verification of the developed software tools and the proposed fracture criterion has been carried out. Examples of the implementation of the developed criterion for assessing crack resistance of a plate stretched in one or two directions with a coaxial transverse crack are given.

A review and analysis of the influence of electrospark treatment on the residual fatigue limit of parts as well as of the degree of influence of electrospark surfacing on the fatigue strength of automotive parts restored by electrospark treatment are given. We present rational technological regimes for electrospark coating deposition and rolling under plastic deformation of the surface of electrospark coatings used in the restoration of worn parts.

Project Assessment of the Reliability of the Joint of a Circulation-Loaded Ring of a Rolling Bearing with a Shaft of Tolerance Class js6

Abstract

Study and assessment of the reliability of a joint of a circulation-loaded ring of a rolling bearing 50217 and a flange of the Yaroslavl Engine Plant gearbox demultiplier have been carried out. It has been found that, upon adding the dispersion of the sizes of the analyzed holes and shafts, a dispersion of gaps and interferences is formed, in which the probability of occurrence of interference fits (93%) prevails. After pressing, due to the collapsing of the roughness of the hole and the shaft, the probability of interference with a gap increases (51.7%). In addition, upon operating under the action of a load, the possibility arises that joints with an actual interference less than the smallest functional one (8.1 µm) can turn. It has been proven that, when shaft tolerance class js6 is assigned, interference with a gap will prevail in the joint, which will lead to rotation of the circulation-loaded bearing ring in more than 80% of the joints, significantly reducing the reliability of the demultiplier bearing assembly and the gearbox of the Yaroslavl Engine Plant engine as a whole.

Development of Methods for Optimization and Machine Design of the Connecting Unit of Oil-Field Equipment

Abstract

It was determined experimentally that to provide complete sealing, the value of the contact pressure on the sealing surface must be three times greater than the internal pressure. The tightness of flange connections is provided by creating the necessary pressure on the sealing surfaces of the flanges. Moreover, the required specific pressure is created in the seals by tightening the bolts fastening the flanges. The amount of leakage is influenced by the surface roughness and the accuracy of the manufacturing of the sealing elements.

Abstract

To deal with residual stresses that arise after the application of the selective laser sintering method, in this article the heat treatment method according to the State Standard and vibration tumbling in a drum with ceramic “chips” are chosen. During operation, various vibrations occur, which lead to the destruction of the structure. To deal with vibrations of this kind, it is proposed to apply coatings to the structure. Such coatings increase the resistance to oxidation, corrosion, etc. In addition, they absorb vibrations (damping), thus removing resonance. At the same time, the service life of a coated product relative to an uncoated part is guaranteed to be 5–20% higher.

Visualization of the Design Parameters of Worm Gears

Abstract

Methods for graphical representation of the connection between the initial data and the main results of the design of worm gears are considered. Graphs have been developed that visualize the initial data, the resulting dimensions, and the sliding speeds in a wide range of gear ratios. Working with summary graphs prevents errors and significantly reduces the time for selecting transmission parameters in accordance with the performance criteria.

В статье рассматривается модель передачи информации по элементам автоматизированной системы управления связи на основе сети Петри, которая позволяет динамически контролировать и управлять состоянием системы связи с учетом заданных временных ограничений и возможных внешних воздействий. Представлен общий описательный подход к составлению модели без учета конкретных внешних воздействий. Рассматривается три возможных состояния системы связи с учетом возможных негативных возмущающих воздействий.
