Aleksandrovskaya); Method for screening diagnosis of mental stress and neurotic tendencies in children and adolescents.” Results. The average group indicators of the main group have higher values than the indicators of the control group on the scales of “acceptance”, “symbiosis”, “control”. Teenagers with a stutter evaluate their character less positively, while they are less confident in their own abilities and capabilities. The level of claims in the main group is lower than in the control. Conclusion. A significant factor influencing the formation of an adequate self-esteem of a teenager, regardless of whether he has a speech impairment, is the direct psychological contact of parents with the child, by which it is necessary to understand the desire and desire of parents to learn the inner world of their child’s experiences (3 tables, bibliography: 5 refs).
