Abstract
this article explores the phenomenon of the Russian-Church Slavonic linguistic personality based on discursive practices as a sign of knowledge representation, according to the specific stages of development, which occurs at three main levels. The main objectives of the study are to describe the concept of discourse in relation to the linguistic personality, interpreted in the paper as Russian-Church Slavonic, and to present discursive practices as a sign of the representation of the Russian-Church Slavonic linguistic personality's knowledge of words and their interpretation, syntactic constructions of the Church Slavonic language, and the specifics of their translation into Russian. The paper considers discourse as a special form of language use, which involves the creation of a text that registers the communicative manifestation of the Russian-Church Slavonic linguistic personality in written form. Since each discourse has its own addressees, the paper takes into account the fact that communicants are prepared to perceive information at the semantic, pragmatic, and interactional levels. Particular attention is given to the role of metalinguistic communication, which is based on the transfer of social experience in understanding the identification of linguistic units understood as the main concepts of the Slavic linguistic worldview, as well as the representation of knowledge of stereotypical Church Slavonic constructions – the "Dative Case with Infinitive" and the "Dative Independent" – as ways of expressing the mentality of this worldview.
