A study of the gender characteristics of written speech based on introductory essays by applicants of the P.P. Ershov pedagogical institute (branch) of University of Tyumen

according to a sociological survey conducted by the international community of GlobalNR research companies and the «Romir» research holding, Russia is considered one of the most conservative among developed countries. Psycholinguistics as a science emphasizes the importance of linguistic personality, patterns of thinking at all levels of text organization: lexical, syntactic, morphological, phonetic. In the research of Egorova M.A., Komalov L.R., Ostapenko A.B. it is emphasized that these facts make it possible to link social norms and traditions acceptable in a particular country, related to gender differences between men and women, with linguistic self-expression. The peculiarities manifest themselves consciously or involuntarily and provide a stable basis for conducting sociological observations, forecasting trends in the development of the Russian language, as well as its differentiated teaching. The primary problem of the research lies in the lack of knowledge of gender stereotypes in the Russian language in the process of forming meaningful models of male and female speech. The purpose of this article is to trace the presence of linguistic means in the organized speech of both sexes caused by these biases. The tasks of the work include a description of gender psychological characteristics, an analysis of their characteristic written features, and a practical analysis of essays. The study is based on introductory essays by applicants of the Ishim Pedagogical Institute named after P.P. Ershov (branch) of University of Tyumen. The article proves the position of the mutual influence of gender patterns on the written style of presentation and formulation of thought, which expresses the importance of psycholinguistics in understanding linguistic processes.
