Abstract

the purpose of this study is to develop methods and means of diagnostics in qualimetric monitoring of the formation of environmental competence in higher education. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1. development of diagnostic tools and methods for the cognitive component of the model of qualimetric monitoring of the formation of environmental competence in higher education; 2. development of diagnostic tools and methods for the operational component of the model of qualimetric monitoring of the formation of environmental competence in higher education; 3. development of diagnostic tools and methods for the component of the model of qualimetric monitoring of the formation of environmental competence in higher education. As a result of the conducted research, test questions, project tasks, questionnaires were developed and self-assessment methods were selected that will allow an objective assessment of the level of formation of environmental competence. The developed diagnostic tools were formed in accordance with the component structure of the model of qualimetric monitoring of the formation of environmental competence in higher education. The results of this study can be applied in assessing environmental competence and significantly improve the quality of education in the field of ecology and contribute to the formation of sustainable environmental competence in students, which is necessary for solving modern environmental problems.
