The role of music education in the upbringing of university youth in Russia and China

the article analyzes the role of music education in the upbringing of student youth in Russia and China, taking into account the legal framework and the cultural and historical traditions of both countries. It examines the regulatory legal documents governing music education, highlighting their common features and differences from a cognitive-legal perspective. The paper substantiates the importance of musical art in shaping spiritual and moral values, patriotism, emotional and aesthetic responsiveness, as well as in developing the creative potential of students. Using a comparison of the Russian and Chinese music education systems as an example, the work demonstrates the specific features of implementing the concept of continuity and succession, emphasizing the link between the artistic sphere, cultural industry, and the socio-economic priorities of the state. The conclusion is drawn on the necessity of further improving pedagogical technologies and promoting intercultural exchange to ensure a comprehensive approach to the personal development of contemporary students.
