Classification of project activities of libraries for the formation of civil and patriotic culture of children and youth

in the article, the civil and patriotic activities of libraries are revealed in the context of socializing and cultural-creative functions, library science approaches to the classification of socializing project activities of libraries are considered, its problem-thematic orientation, the main typological features are revealed, and the characteristics of libraries are giveninformation resources that allow for a multifaceted search for innovative ideas in the field of socially significant project practice of libraries serving young people. On the basis of the author's methodology for the classification of socio-cultural projects, a typology of projects of a civil and patriotic orientation for children and youth is presented; the specifics and content of spiritual, moral, patriotic, civic socializing projects are revealed; the results of a local study of the project practice of public libraries are presented Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region, library and pedagogical methods for the formation of a high level of civic and patriotic culture of adolescents are determined.
