Abstract
the relevance of the research topic is due to the need to improve the effectiveness of training of personnel of fire protection units in an increasingly complex fire situation. The research goal is to identify the psychological and pedagogical conditions that ensure the effective implementation of immersive systems of technical support for the exercises of fire protection units. The study objectives include: analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the use of immersive technologies in education and training; identification of the most effective psychological and pedagogical conditions for the implementation of an immersive approach; to summarize the basic principles of the use of immersive technologies during the training of fire protection units. The research methodology presented in the article is based on a systematic approach and includes: synthesis, analysis, systematization, descriptive method, comparison, as well as the formal-logical method. The conclusions obtained in the course of the study made it possible to establish that the effectiveness of the implementation of immersive systems of technical support for the exercises of fire protection units depends on compliance with the following psychological and pedagogical conditions: ensuring a high level of realism of the simulated environment, adapting the system interface to the features of the professional activity of firefighters, the use of interactive training methods.
