США в первый год войны на Украине: интересы, выгоды, дипломатия

Аннотация

Понимание мотивов позиции США в отношении российско-украинского кризиса даёт представление о том, как может быть разрешен конфликт. В статье обосновывается научная гипотеза, что американская поддержка Киева является не столько вопросом американской приверженности морально-правовым нормам международных отношений, сколько направлена на получение геополитических, военных и экономических выгод. Этот императив соседствует с выводами о приоритетности для администрации Байдена геополитического соперничества между крупными мировыми державами. Показано, насколько опосредованная война против России оказалась выгодной Соединённым Штатам для усиления НАТО, получения преференций в трансатлантической торговле и подъёма военно-промышленного комплекса. Отмечается важность понимания, что выгоды Америки дорого обошлись Европе, где война вызвала сильнейший шок в экономике. Допускается, что Запад стал более консолидирован, но он не стал более влиятельным в мировой политике. Подчеркивается, что американская дипломатия вынуждена считаться с тем, что большинство стран предлагают закончить войну как можно скорее, даже если Украина должна пойти на уступки.
