Resumo
In recent decades, the Arctic region has become an important geopolitical object, leading to an increase in research on various areas of state activity in this region. This article summarizes the features of the functioning of food systems and the assurance of food security for the population of the Arctic territories in North American countries. It concludes that there is a need to improve data collection and monitoring of factors that ensure the food security of the Arctic territories at the macro-regional level.
