Resumo
The article is dedicated to the problem of describing the Carlist movement in the books of R. M. del Valle-Inclán. The texts of his cycle “Sonatas” serve as the material for the study. The lexical means of creating the image of Don Carlos, of his supporters and opponents are studied. The “Sonatas” are analyzed in the context of Carlist political discourse. It is concluded that the author has a positive attitude towards Carlism.
