注意
The article analyses the ways of describing facial expressions in Russian-language audio description for dramatic films. The aim of the research is to systematise the methods of describing facial expressions used by the commentators. The material was analysed using the software package ‘Balanced Linguistic Corpus Generator and Corpus Manager. The main research methods were the frame modelling, corpus analysis and the method of continuous sampling. The results of the study showed that facial expressions can be described using verbs, ‘adverb + verb’ constructions, verbal adverbs and/or verbal adverb phrases, participles, adjectives, as well as ‘part of speech + somatism’constructions.
