The online journal "Themis.Science" was created in 2014 to provide a thematic platform for the publication of scientific research in the fields of law, justice, and economics for students of the Russian State University of Justice named after V.M. Lebedev. In 2023, the journal expanded its target audience by accepting articles from graduate students and young scientists in addition to undergraduates. It also formally formed an editorial board, which included heads of departments and academic staff from the Russian State University of Justice named after V. M. Lebedev. The editorial board has remained unchanged since 2023.
