Abstract
This article focuses on managing the qualifications of financial specialists and linking diagnostics/certification with the performance of P2P, O2C, and FP&A systems. It addresses the challenge of constructing a three-tier model: independent qualification assessment (IQA) and professional standards as an input filter, industry certification by the National Association of Financial Directors (NAFD) industry certification as a practical superstructure for the Russian legal and tax environment, and internal assessment and training regulations as an operational layer. ADAPTATION OF MARKETING STRATEGIES FOR DIFFERENT CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC MARKETS
Abstract
This article examines the practices of cultural and linguistic adaptation of marketing strategies as brands enter multilingual markets. Its relevance stems from the growing share of organic traffic and personalized media consumption in the luxury, HoReCa, education, and B2B segments. SINGLE TAX PAYMENT IN 2025: ANALYSIS OF THE REFORM
Abstract
This article analyzes the Unified Tax Payment (UTP) reform in the Russian Federation, based on expert opinions and statistical data. The implementation of the UTP in 2023 is aimed at streamlining tax processes and facilitating taxpayer interactions with tax authorities. The UTP simplifies tax administration by reducing the number of payment orders (one payment instead of several), minimizing technical errors in completing them, and distributing Federal Tax Service (FTS) funds across tax types. Statistics have confirmed the positive impact: by November 2023, 90% of taxpayers had switched to monthly payments through the UTP, and the number of tax debtors had more than halved. However, experts also point out certain shortcomings and risks. These include difficulties with offset priority, meaning that if funds in the Single Tax Account (STA) are insufficient, taxpayers cannot independently determine which tax to allocate the funds to, which may lead to penalties being assessed on other, priority payments. Complex cash flows and limited ability to manage funds in the STA must also be taken into account. Furthermore, payments such as "injury allowances" continue to be paid separately, outside the STA system. In 2025, the STA will continue to play a central role, requiring businesses to carefully adapt their accounting systems and strictly adhere to the conditions to minimize the risk of arrears and penalties. Thus, the STA has achieved significant results in simplifying procedures, but requires further attention and refinement to address emerging challenges.

TAX SHIFT IN THE FISCAL POLICY OF THE KALININGRAD REGION
Abstract
This article analyzes the tax shift in the fiscal policy of the Kaliningrad Region in 2025, driven by a combination of federal and regional legislative changes. Central to the reform is the balance between the need to increase budgetary capacity and maintaining the region's investment attractiveness, especially within the framework of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Three main areas of this shift are examined. First, the preservation of guarantees for SEZ residents regarding the immutability of corporate income tax conditions, despite the increase in the federal rate. Second, the reform of the Simplified Tax System (STS) and the introduction of VAT for taxpayers with incomes over 60 million rubles, which differentiates the tax burden on small and medium-sized businesses. Third, the activation of local taxes, including the increase of land tax rates on high-value plots and the introduction of a tourist tax to replenish local budgets and ensure social justice. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the economic consequences of the tax shift for the small and medium-sized business segment, the competitive environment, and the consumer market. The conclusion is drawn that the 2025 tax transition is aimed at the structural reorganization of the fiscal system, stimulating large investments through the SEZ, and a fairer distribution of the tax burden. However, the success of the reform critically depends on the regional economy's ability to adapt to the new rules and the quality of tax administration. Prospects and possible scenarios for the development of tax policy for 2026 are also outlined.

ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA: THE IMPERATIVE OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE
Abstract
This research is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the role of international trade in goods in shaping the long-term economic competitiveness of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The initial premise of the paper is the thesis that the critical monodependence of the Nigerian export nomenclature on the raw materials sector, predominantly hydrocarbons, acts as a key constraint on its global competitive position. This factor maintains its dominance despite the presence of such objective advantages as a substantial domestic consumer market and a favourable demographic structure. The empirical and methodological framework of the study includes methods of structural-logical decomposition, historical-comparative analysis, as well as the calculation of commodity concentration indicators and trade balance volatility. The economic history of the Republic of Nigeria presents a complex dynamic, where periods of rapid growth driven by export revenues from hydrocarbons are interrupted by systemic crises. The study of key turning points in the development of this African state allows us to identify critical factors that have shaped its modern macroeconomic structure. The research employs a multidisciplinary approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to provide a holistic understanding of Nigeria’s trade dynamics and its impact on long-term competitiveness. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of commodity concentration indices and trade balance volatility, which are crucial for assessing the sustainability of Nigeria’s export-oriented economy. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Nigeria (reference points, trigger points, and bifurcation points) in its quest for diversified and resilient economic growth.

A CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRARIAN SECTOR OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Abstract
This study assesses the causal impact of digitalization (internet penetration) on agricultural productivity (grain yield) in Central Asian countries. Most studies face endogeneity issues due to interactions and unobservable factors. We address this issue using a two-stage least squares (2SLS) econometric approach on panel data from five countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) for the period 2015-2023. To identify causal effects, we use access to electricity (sdg7_elecac) as an instrumental variable (IV). The results of the first stage confirm the effectiveness of the instrument (F = 12.395). The second stage shows that a one percentage point (pp) increase in internet penetration leads to a 0.077 t/ha increase in grain yields (P < 0.01). We also found that low poverty and high levels of human capital (measured by life expectancy) are key prerequisites for effective digital solutions. These results have implications for the development of targeted digitalization and food security policies in the region.

SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY OF WOMEN: DOUBTS, BARRIERS AND DYNAMICS
Abstract
The relevance of this study lies in the fact that the contribution of women's entrepreneurship to the economy requires a methodological understanding of the features of its functioning. Objectively, a trend has been recorded - traditional cultural and social norms are gradually changing, especially against the background of their own and large-scale economic sanctions. Methodological approaches, methods and techniques, as well as models and specific tools applicable in a dramatically changing Russian and international business environment need clarification and adequate changes. The author believes that the barriers (financial, informational, market, business relations, educational and professional, cultural and historical) that prevent women from full-fledged independence in business (especially in micro, small, medium) must be overcome. There are social actors (public, non-governmental, private) and management tools can be created to provide women entrepreneurs with sustainable and high-quality access to the resources necessary for the successful development of their business. Is there a formula for success for women's entrepreneurial activity?

COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS IN EARLY PRODUCT EXPERIENCE: ONBOARDING, FREE TRIALS, AND GAMIFIED ENGAGEMENT
Abstract
The article examines the influence of cognitive biases at the early stages of user–product interaction. It focuses on three key marketing contexts in which cognitive mechanisms of expectation formation and subsequent dissonance become evident: onboarding, trial-to-paid transitions, and gamification of user experience.
The theoretical foundation draws upon classical concepts of cognitive psychology, including the anchoring effect, cognitive dissonance, loss aversion within prospect theory, and self-determination theory. Based on these frameworks, the author introduces the concept of the false start effect, describing a paradoxical phenomenon in which an overly easy or gratifying beginning leads to amplified disappointment and motivational decline when subsequent challenges arise.
The study demonstrates that the structure of initial user experience forms a cognitive frame that shapes perceptions of complexity, value, and fairness in interaction with a product. It concludes that early stages of the customer journey should be considered critical points of loyalty formation and retention, where even minor perceptual distortions can significantly alter behavioral trajectories.

THE IMPACT OF JAPAN'S CURRENCY AND FINANCIAL RELATIONS ON THE FORMATION OF THE ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS
Abstract
International monetary and financial relations (MFR) are a critical factor determining macroeconomic stability and sustainable development of national economic complexes. This is particularly relevant against the backdrop of geopolitical changes and rapid technological modernization. Effective integration into the global economy requires states to adapt and strategically rethink financial mechanisms that contribute to ensuring long-term competitive advantages. The Japanese economy is facing a range of structural challenges that require a fundamental revision of foreign economic and monetary policy. Among the most important problems are the deflationary trend, which is exacerbated by demographic aging and dependence on imports of strategic resources. This threatens price stability and real consumer demand, therefore, the traditional MFR instruments for maintaining export price competitiveness through devaluation of the national currency are becoming a serious systemic risk factor. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive analysis of monetary and financial instruments that previously formed the basis of economic breakthrough but currently act as the main constraints to sustainable development.
