Abstract
The purpose of the study was to develop a new complex restorative treatment, including combined effects of method of alternating low-frequency current, and color therapy, aimed at improving the effectiveness of treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. As a result of the work it was found that the complex, which includes the combined use of electrostimulating therapy by a variable low-frequency current and chromotherapy, improves the function of external respiration due to increase in forced vital capacity, forced expiratory volume in first second, and the growth of high-speed performance at the level of large bronchial tubes and average bronchial tubes, and also enhances the performance of autonomic regulation, and against the background of basic therapy provides a more pronounced clinical effect in the rehabilitative treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
