Key Metaphoric Concepts of Internet Linguistics: Cyberspace, Virtual Reality, Virtual Community, Virtual Time, Virtual Language Individuality

In the article the author presents the results of the research of the concepts “cyberspace”, “virtual reality”, “virtual community”, “cybertime”, “virtual linguistic personality” taking into consideration the result of the previous linguistic research. The author concludes that due to the metaphorization of this concepts we witness the process of “domestication” or “taming” of such a complex and complicated technical phenomenon as the Internet. Thus making it clear, comprehensible and familiar to nearly all people all over the world, making their life easier on the one hand and more difficult on the other.
