Abstract
Боль в пояснице (боль в нижней части спины - БНС) является одной из наиболее частых жалоб, с которой пациенты обращаются на прием к врачу. Около 85% взрослого населения периодически испытывают БНС. Несмотря на то что в основном БНС вызвана неспецифическими скелетно-мышечными причинами, эффективные методы профилактики и снижения риска развития хронического болевого синдрома (БС) до настоящего времени окончательно не определены. Несмотря на противоречивость имеющихся данных,можно с высокой степенью вероятности предполагать роль дегенеративных изменений позвоночника, в первую очередь ОА дугоотростчатых суставов и повреждения межпозвоночных дисков, в развитии и поддержании БНС. В настоящее время можно с уверенностью утверждать о тесной связи между выраженностью изменений в коленных, тазобедренных, запястных суставах и поражением дугоотростчатых суставов. Таким образом, открываются новые возможности в терапии и профилактике БНС. Все больше данных появляется по эффективности применения хондропротекторов, содержащих глюкозамин и хондроитин, при БНС, что позволяет рекомендовать их к применению для достижения стойкого противовоспалительного эффекта и замедления прогрессирования дегенеративных изменений позвоночника.
