Abstract
In this experimental study, we used an aluminum AMg2M alloy and St3 steel as proxies to determine the discontinuity, the ultimate strength, the value of the relative elongation, and the width and depth of the welded joint as a function of the technological parameters of laser overlap welding. The physical and mechanical properties of the welded joints were found to be close to those of AMg2M.
