Abstract
In the article the objectives, tasks, content and methods of junior courses students’ social competence formation and developmentduringoff-hour curator activity are considered. The content and structure of an authentic optional course “My profession and me” as well as the method of mastering the course by the students during their off-schedule time are presented.
