Abstract
Based on thilation by the Lawesson’s reagent (LR), a concise and efficient synthesis of (R or S)-4-methyl-1-(1,4,5,8-tetramethoxynaphthalen-2-yl)pent-3-ene-1-thiol was developed with relatively high yield.
