Аннотация

A series of novel porphyrin ligands and their zinc complexes with twelve long flexible chains have been synthesized and characterized by UV-Vis, IR, and ¹H NMR spectra. Liquid-crystal properties of the compounds are studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarizing optical microscopy (POM). Absorption spectra, luminescence spectra and fluorescence lifetime of the products are determined.
