Abstract

N-(Phenyl)alkylthiosemicarbazones of 3,5-dichloro- and 3,5-diiodosalicylic aldehydes (H₂L) and their copper(II) complexes [Cu(HL)(CH₃OH)]⁺(NO₃)^– have been synthesized. The structure of one of the complexes has been determined by X-ray analysis.
