Abstract
On Sunday, January 18, 1898, there was a wedding: Varvara D-va, a peasant from the village of Synkovo, Dobryatinskaya volost, Podolsk district, married to Ivan K-va, a peasant from the village of Romantsevo, Molodinskaya volost, Podolsk district. The event ended with a feast, which was attended by up to 20 guests, and during the day and night they drank 21/2 buckets of vodka ("sivukhi"). According to the assurances of young relatives, despite a fair amount of drunk, there were no drunks.
