On a promising system of agricultural tractors classification
Abstract
Based on the analysis of various possible parameters of agricultural tractors classification describing their performance, the expediency of promising system for classification by two parameters - operating power and nominal traction force, is grounded. To illustrate the possible use of two-parameter classification of wheeled tractors (with wheel sizes 4K4a and 4K4b) and crawler tractors, some complex of dimension types in some way reflecting the Russian market and the designs made by Russian, Byelorussian and Ukrainian tractor plants at the beginning of 2008 is presented.

A tool for tillage in areas exposed to water erosion
Abstract
Construction of a tool for the beardless ridge-coulisses tillage on sloping agricultural landscapes is given. The design of process of forming the ridge-stubbles coulisses, ensuring the reduction of melt water and erosion processes is described. New tool provides the high technological reliability during the tillage on various agricultural backgrounds when soil moisture in the plow layer is up to 25% and hardness is up to 3 MPa.

Analysis of the controlled curvilinear motion of high-speed tracked machinery
Abstract
Curvilinear motion of a tracked vehicle with change in curvature of trajectory in magnitude and direction is considered. Through the analysis of differential equations of controlled motion, it is justified what parts of trajectories are the most dangerous under skidding. Inertial moments of a tracked vehicle corresponding to various configurations of trajectory were found using the distribution graphs of curvature of trajectory along the way.

Laboratory experiment-calculated complex for the investigation of traction and power properties of wheeled mover
Abstract
The design of «Ground channel» test bench with hardware component and methodology of experimental research of wheeled mowers are presented. The results of studies in form of integral characteristics (traction-cohesion and traction-power) of mover's interaction with the supporting surface and a method of use of experimental characteristics for the simulation of rectilinear motion of wheeled vehicles are given.

Comparative technical and economical parameters of gas diesel and gas-spark-ignited converted diesels to run on CNG
Abstract
On the basis of experimental input data the commercial efficiency of conversion of automotive diesels in gas-diesel and gas-spark-ignition engines is calculated. Analysis of both options' performance is given, taking into account the load factor of engine.

Hardening of track's pins of tracked machines with screw compression during the high-temperature thermomechanical processing
Abstract
The stress-strain state of metal in deformation zone under the screw compression is considered using a mathematical model of process. This model allows to determine the limiting tangential stresses in a workpiece at the exit of deformation zone, which do not lead to the destruction provided by twist in the process of deformation.

Calibration of fatigue sensors under asymmetric stress cycles during the operation of agricultural machine's parts
Abstract
The possibility of calibration tests of fatigue sensors during the asymmetric cycles of stresses, carried out according to the «rotary bending test» scheme, is investigated. Construction of calibration sample has been developed. A calibration curve for the fatigue sensors made from perforated aluminum foil is shown.

Restoration of spring teeth of agricultural machinery
Abstract
Results of theoretical and experimental studies of a new technology for the restoration of haymaker spring teeth on the example of hard-core cross-teeth rakes ГП-14 are presented. Functional dependences of influence of recovery rational modes on the parameters of spring teeth are revealed. A recommended mode of technological process of the spring teeth restoration by electromechanical treatment is determined.

Control of reliability level of agricultural tractors based on the estimation of its manufacturing, maintenance and repair cost
Abstract
The production process of tractors manufacturing should provide for its regulation to ensure the given plant level of reliability. The higher reliability of the tractor, the more expensive its design and manufacture are. At the same time the costs of maintaining tractors in working condition are decreased. Contradictory nature of these costs allows to optimize the level of tractor's reliability.
