Abstract
On May 22–23, 2025, the All-Russian Scientific Conference with international participation “Post-Traumatic Stress: Methodology, Theory, Practice” was held at the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow). During the conference, nearly 100 presentations were made in 13 different areas of work, as well as six plenary presentations highlighting current theoretical and practical issues in the study of post-traumatic stress. Following the conference, an electronic collection of conference materials was published. The conference confirmed that the study of post-traumatic stress has become a separate field of psychology. The presentations showed progress in understanding the nature of post-traumatic stress, pointed out gaps in scientific knowledge, and outlined prospects for studying human mental development before, during and after traumatic events.
