Зависимость скорости дыхания арктических копепод от веса тела при отрицательной температуре

Скорость дыхания (R) в зависимости от веса животных (W) описывается уравнением R = a Wb, где b обычно принимается равным ¾. Однако ряд авторов указывает, что величина степенного коэффициента может варьировать при изменении температуры и в течение онтогенеза. Копеподы арктических морей большую часть жизни проводят при температуре ≤ 0°С, однако соответствующих измерений скорости их дыхания крайне мало, что не позволяет оценить величину b при отрицательной температуре. Такие измерения проводились в рейсах НИС “Академик Мстислав Келдыш” в сибирских морях в 2018–2020 гг. Копепод адаптировали к экспериментальной температуре и помещали в герметичные склянки на 24 ч. Концентрацию кислорода измеряли оптоволоконным кислородным зондом. Приводятся результаты 120 измерений скорости дыхания и 111 измерений углерода тела у пяти видов копепод при температуре –1.5°С. Полученная зависимость углерода (W) от длины просомы (L) описывается уравнением W = 6.982 L3.221, а зависимость дыхания от веса тела — уравнением R = 0.077 W0.753. Не обнаружено влияния отрицательной температуры на степенной коэффициент b. Зависимость скорости дыхания от веса тела не изменялась в процессе онтогенеза Calanus glacialis.
