Аннотация
We demonstrate that air annealing of oxide layers produced on titanium by plasma electrolytic oxidation and containing WO3, MnWO4, and ZnWO4 leads to the surface growth of nano- and microcrystals consisting predominantly of WO3. The crystals are initially formed around the perimeter of the coating pores. The size, composition, and number of crystals depend on the annealing temperature. We discuss possible causes and mechanisms of crystal growth.
