Prediction of hand syndactylia relapse
Abstract
The computer prediction algorithm making it possible before the operation to estimate with sufficient reliability degree the feasibility of the hand syndactylia relapse after surgical intervention and to choose the rational operation tactics is developed. The test of the prognostic table by the data of the control group case records showed a good agreement between the prognostic results and the true ones.
Recovery of the impaired function of the hand thumb flexion
Abstract
The results of the treatment of the long flexion injuries of the I finger in combination with the median nerve branches injuries of the I—III fingers in 63 patients are analysed. The primary and primary delayed tendon sutures proved to be effective. In isolated long flexion injury of the I finger the primary and secondary sutures are effective, and at remote terms the Dubrov autotendoplasty is effective. Recovery of the thumb injuried blockform ligament is possible parallel with it without sacrifice for the function.
Endoscopic laserotherapy in combined treatment of duodenal peptic ulcerous disease
Abstract
The results of combined treatment of 90 patients with duodenal peptic ulcerous disease are presented. The clinical efficiency of complementing the traditional treatment by the endoscopic laserotherapy is shown. The positive dynamics of histamine, serotonin, catecholamines in duodenum mucous membrane was noted parallel with the clinicoendoscopic picture improvement. The positive changes of humoral and cellular immunity indices in the presence of the treatment combined with the endoscopic laserotherapy were observed.
Comparison of efficiency of benzylpenicillin in the treatment of pneumonia in intramuscular and lymphotropic methods of injection
Abstract
Penicillin concentration in blood serum of patients with pneumonia in the presence of acute respiratory virus infection is studied by the highly effective liquid chromatography method in lymphotropic and intramuscular methods of injection. The effect of lymphotropic injection of the antibiotic on the clinical picture of the disease is revealed. Total disappearance of penicillin from blood serum in 3 hours in intramuscular injection and conservation of it within the minimum inhibiting concentration up to 9 hours after lymphotropic injection is indicated. The conclusions are made on the superiority of the given method over intramuscular one in velocity of cupping pulmonary symptomatology, quantity of the drug injections and load on middle medical staff.
Efficiency of ambrosan in bronchopulmonary diseases
Abstract
As many as 137 patients with acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma, bron- choectatic disease and tuberculosis were given ambrosan in a dose of 30 mg three times per day in combined therapy (all patients were given antibacterial drugs). It was shown that ambrosan softens cough, promotes sputum passage, positively affects rhe bronchopulmonary disease course. This effect was the most pronounced in acute and chronic bronchitis (87% and 94,8%).
Determination of the incidence of bronchial asthma in children of school age
Abstract
A group of children aged 7 and 13—14 was chosen using the questionnaire data of 6104 pupils in Nalchik according to the International program ISAAC. It is possible to identify the patients which need the diagnosis refinement by studying medical documentation in the risk group.
Complex estimation of cardiovascular and respiratory systems under the loads of an increasing power
Abstract
The coefficient of the complex estimation of providing a body with oxygen is suggested. Physical load at 200 W is provided with various combination of the interaction of transport and oxygen utilization systems depending on the age of athletes.
Respiratory modulation of reflex activity of the truncus cerebri
Abstract
The effect of resistive load and hyperventilation on reflex activity of bulbar cerebrum structures was studied in 32 healthy volunteers by blink-reflex registration method. It is established that resistive load caused the increase of amplitude-time characteristics of the reflex response late component. Hyperventilation test, in its turn, was accompanied by suppression of the late reflex response. The data obtained show that resistive load increases excitability of truncal neurons responsible for the realization of the late reflex response, and hyperventilation has an inhibiting effect on the cerebrum structure data.
Clinicogenetic characteristic of patients with mucoviscidosis in the saratov region
Abstract
As many as 52 families having patients with mucoviscidosis (2 : 100000 inhabitants) live in the Saratov region. The molecular and genetic examination was performed in 38 children. 52,6% of chromosomes in patients with mucoviscidosis carry the mutation del F508, 47,4% of chromosomes carry other mutations. 28,9% of them have homoxygotes, 47,4% have homozygomes by the mutation del F508, and 23,7% of patients with both rare or unknown mutations. The mixed mucoviscidosis form is revealed in 92,1% of children, the pulmonary one is revealed in 5,3% of children and the enteric one is revealed in 2,6% of children. It is shown that the incidence of mucoviscidosis corresponds to the assumed incidence for the European part of Russia: the level of chromosomes carrying the mutation del F508 is lower than in the countries of west Europe but higher than in the south of Europe and in the north-west of Russia.
Functional state of immune and endocrinic systems in children of first three months of life with active cytomegalovirus infection
Abstract
The state of immune and endocrinic systems and their relation in children of first three months of life with active cytomegalovirus infection is studied. Significant immunity disorders as cellular reaction dysbalance and humoral link activation are revealed in children with active congenital cytomegalovirus infection. The association of lymphocyte subpopulations with the disease gravity and terms of infecting a child is established. The low level of thyroidin hormone T3 that is the disease gravity criterion is revealed in 1/3 of children.
Unimoment reconstruction of two-storeyed lesions of lower extremity arteries
Abstract
The comparative characteristic of the results of two basic surgical treatment methods of two-storeyed lesions of lower extremity arteries; proximal reconstruction and simultaneous reconstruction of both storeys is given. It is revealed that atherosclerosis progress in the distal anastomosis region of the aortofemoral shunt as well as in the popliteal artery region and its trifurcation can cause blood circulatior decompensation at remote terms after proxima reconstructions. The unimoment reconstruction makes it possible to exclude in advance from blood circulatior zone the potential hemodynamic barriers in deep femoral artery region, popliteal artery and its trifurcation arising with atherosclerosis developmen at remote terms after the primary operation as well as to decrease the probability of lesion of the dista anastomosis of aortofemoral shunt by neointima hyperplasia.
Reproductive potential in women after tubal pregnancy operation
Abstract
The ectopic pregnancy frequency is studied by the data of one of the great puerperal houses in Kazan for 1993—1997. It is established that following the ectopic pregnancy, the pregnancy comes in each fifth woman; among women wishing to give birth, the pregnancy comes in each second one. Hence, in ectopic pregnancy complications of tuboperitoneal sterility in calculations it is necessary to take into account the woman’s wish to retain reproductive function.
Current state and prospects of X-ray endovascular surgery
Abstract
According to epidemiological studies A. Gotto (USA), G. Schetter (Germany), approximately 25-30% of the world's population suffer from clinically manifested atherosclerosis. This disease is characterized by systemic lesions of the arteries of the heart, brain, all parts of the aorta and peripheral vessels, primarily the arteries of the lower extremities.
On the importance of psychological factors in allergic diseases in children
Abstract
Allergic diseases account for 20-25% in the overall structure of all morbidity in Russia [5]. The problem of prevention and treatment of allergic diseases in children is especially urgent, because allergic diseases occupy a leading place in the structure of childhood diseases. According to A.M. Potemkina, treatment and prevention of allergic diseases in children are most effective in the first three years of life. In children of the first year of life, monoallergy prevails, that is, one allergic disease (85%).
Surgical treatment of chronic calculous pancreatitis
Abstract
Most often, patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) are treated conservatively, but in some forms of CP associated with impaired outflow of pancreatic juice, surgical treatment is the method of choice. One of the indications for surgical treatment is virsungolithiasis, in particular, impacted stones of the Wirsung duct. With such a pathology, they resort to internal drainage operations (pancreatojejunostomy according to Duval or Puestau), virsungoplasty or endoscopic removal of stones.
