Abstract
Treatment of parenchymal keratitis with malaria vaccination. Schreiber (Ztschr. f. Aug. Bd. 66. H 4/5) conducted treatment of parenchymal keratitis with malaria vaccination in 23 cases with 35 diseased eyes in the Finger clinic and notes the beneficial effect of this therapy in the disappearance of photophobia, lacrimation and blepharospasm; a sharp injection weakens, the eye becomes paler, and later becomes completely pale; however, the opacity of the cornea weakens slightly, the hyperemia of the iris decreases noticeably, the pupil expands well from small doses of atropine, which was difficult to achieve before treatment with malaria vaccinations, despite abundant atropinization, and thus prevents the formation of posterior synechia.
