Abstract
On September 2, 1985, after a serious and long illness at the age of 87 years, Ivan Fedorovich Kharitonov, TASSR honoured scientist, honoured doctor of TASSR, Doctor of Medical Sciences, passed away. His life and work is a bright page in the history of Kazan Medical School and healthcare of the Tatar ASSR.
