Abstract
Abstract. Analysis of electrogastrograms allows one to judge about the beneficial effect of novocaine blockade of the celiac nerves and sympathetic trunks on the motor function of the stomach in patients with gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, intestine. By the end of the course of treatment, along with clinical improvement, normalization of the electrical activity of the stomach was noted in patients with both hyperkinetic and hypokinetic types of motility.
