Abstract
We analyzed the case histories of 1022 people. with acute trauma to the skull and brain, who were treated at the neurosurgery department of the Kazan Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics from 1961 to 1964. 901 patients had closed skull and brain trauma and 121 - open trauma.
