Abstract
Modern methods of clinical examination of the stomach, in particular, Berg's fluoroscopy and gastroscopy, have significantly advanced our knowledge in the field of gastric pathology in recent years. The old catarrh of the stomach, which at one time was completely expelled from the clinic, resurrected again under the name of gastritis and is, according to modern data, a very common disease, which belongs to the central place among other diseases of the stomach.
