Improving the quality of learning through the use of Lesson Study approach in class

the article is devoted to the issues of improving the quality of education. The Lesson Study approach is considered a means of enabling the study of the dynamics of student academic performance by helping to develop and improve instruction based on teacher cooperation, the lack of which is considered to be one of the factors of the ineffectiveness in modern domestic education. The publication describes the experience of application of this approach by Kazakhstani teachers. The purpose of the study is to identify the effectiveness of the Lesson Study approach in integrated classes in order to improve the quality of learning. The main objective of the research is the study of the dynamics of development of academic performance by individual students based on the Lesson Study approach; in accordance with it the following methods were used: observation of the subjects' achievement and analysis of educational documentation. The article presents the results of an examination of the use of Lesson Study approach, which confirmed its effectiveness for improving the quality of learning. The experience described in the article can be useful for all teachers who are interested in their professional development. The article can be used by schoolteachers as well as university lecturers.
