Teaching children how to deal with emergencies

Abstract

in every era, efforts have been constantly made to prevent, prepare for, and deal with emergencies. However, it is impossible to predict the place and time of the disaster. It is education and practical training that prepares a person for dangerous accidents. This article examines the effectiveness of virtual reality classes for children studying in educational institutions, and analyzes the need to integrate these classes into the learning process. The purpose of this work is to enable school-age children to respond effectively to various emergencies by learning how to do so using VR technology. Scientific and technological progress affects many things in different ways, turning into reality what was previously only thought of, and making possible what was previously considered impossible. Such an example of progress in training can be a virtual reality system widely used in various fields of economics, and it is considered as the main part of this study. Especially in the field of disaster preparedness, the use of a virtual reality system is very important. In addition to the VR technology that everyone has heard about, this study suggests using XR technology. This technology combines physical, augmented and virtual reality. Colleagues at work can hold a meeting from different points of the world, friends from different points can come together and meet in virtual reality, XR technology combines additional technologies such as network, touch and tactile. These research results can be useful in practice when training firefighters and rescuers on simulators and virtual reality. The results of the study can also serve as a basis for the development of special training programs for the category of people involved in work in the emergency zone. As a result of studying the method of training on virtual reality simulators, it is possible to use this system for practical training in the framework of career guidance and personality formation of future firefighters and rescuers. This, in turn, will be one of the answers to the question of strengthening the ability to respond to various disasters in emergency situations.
