Pedagogical potential of traditional values of Mongolian culture

the article considers pedagogical potential as the basis for the realization of educational goal, formation of traditional values and value bases of personal development. Pedagogical potential is individual cultural phenomena, such as language, custom, folk folklore, folk art, folk creativity, national culture, providing personal development of a person. Culture includes traditional and spiritual values, representing a holistic complex of special features of lifestyle, worldview, oral and written speech, traditional knowledge and technology, and arts and crafts. Mongols have created a set of traditional knowledge and modern technology, pedagogical method and means. They include the weather prediction method, traditional measuring methods of Mongols, the designs, solutions and construction of folk game, the educational tool called “Uyaa”, etc. The article pays special attention to the study of the elements of Mongolian culture as symbols, traditional and spiritual values, social norms, etiquette, worldview bases, customs and traditions. As a result of the study of scientific literature on Mongolian culture, it is concluded that the pedagogical potential of traditional values influences the formation of Mongolian values, the identity of the Mongolian educational space.
