Abstract
the article presents a methodology for developing the professional competencies of future specialists in physical education and sports through the use of digital technologies. During the process of professional training, students learn to independently solve problems that arise in their professional activities with the help of information technologies and are shaped as specialists with the knowledge, skills, and qualifications acquired during the learning process. The development of professional competencies of specialists in physical education and sports through the application of digital technologies is one of the most important directions in modern education. This process provides students with opportunities for an in-depth study of physical activity from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Thanks to digital technologies such as interactive educational platforms, mobile applications, video technologies, and simulation tools, students enhance their knowledge and skills. These methods enable students to independently prepare for their professional activities and serve as an effective tool for analyzing sports achievements and developing new methodologies in the field of physical education. With the help of digital technologies, educators can monitor students' physical conditions and training results in real time, allowing them to apply an individualized approach. Moreover, the possibilities of distance learning significantly expand the prospects for studying physical education and sports. Thus, digital technologies play a crucial role in developing the competencies of future specialists in physical education and sports.
