Abstract

in modern conditions the success of an entrepreneur and business leader is largely determined not only by professional competencies but also by personal qualities collectively known as soft skills. This article examines the essence of soft skills and their significance for effective leadership and entrepreneurial activity. The analysis covers educational practices and methods for developing soft skills in leading international business schools (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT) as well as in Russian educational and corporate institutions. The study is based on comparative analysis, content analysis, and a review of scientific literature. A lack of standardized approaches to teaching soft skills is identified, despite their high demand. Effective training methods are presented, including project-based learning, case studies, training programs, coaching, active listening, reflection, and the use of modern technologies such as VR. The necessity of integrating soft skills development into educational curricula to prepare competitive leaders is emphasized. The research aims to systematize existing approaches and lay the foundation for an effective teaching methodology.
