Musical education as a means of developing aesthetic and moral qualities of students in the conditions of higher education

the importance of developing aesthetic and moral qualities of the individual is recognized by the majority of modern scientists, and a significant number of them also note the fact that the activities of various types of educational institutions, including those providing services for obtaining higher education, are of great importance in the formation of the moral and aesthetic culture of young people. The formation of aesthetic and moral qualities of students occurs with the use of various tools. One of them is music. As modern authors, including foreign ones, note, various forms of its use can have a positive effect not only on the formation of a person's artistic and aesthetic taste, but also contribute to the development of his moral and patriotic attitudes. Hence, the purpose of the study conducted when writing this work is to determine the role of musical education of university students as a tool for developing their aesthetic and moral qualities. In turn, the practical value of the results obtained will consist in the possibility of their use by higher education institutions in order to improve the infrastructure of their educational space and increase the efficiency of its functioning in the formation of students' moral and aesthetic competencies.
