In today's reality, the issue of preparing competitive graduates who possess not only ICT knowledge but also the ability to effectively apply it in their professional activities and adapt to rapidly changing conditions is becoming especially relevant. Results.The article outlines the factors determining the readiness of educational institutions to manage the process of developing ICT competencies, including the level of organization of the information and educational environment, material and technical support, innovative pedagogical approaches, methodological support, a mentoring system, and advanced training for teaching staff. The authors identify key principles for the effective functioning of the information and educational environment aimed at developing students' ICT competencies (the principle of openness of the information space, the principle of equality of participants in the educational process, the principle of variability of information and communication technologies, and the principle of feedback). It is emphasized that creating a well-organized information and educational environment that meets the described principles is key to successfully developing students' ICT competencies, enabling them to realize their personal potential and become competitive professionals in the modern world.
