Interactive English language teaching in the digital age: technologies, approaches and pedagogical practices

the article is devoted to the analysis of interactive learning in teaching English as an actual pedagogical approach in the context of digitalization of education. The author emphasizes the importance of actively involving students in the learning process through group projects, role-playing games, and digital platforms. The paper examines the key principles of an interactive approach based on the theories of constructivism and socio-cultural learning. Special attention in this work is paid to the role of modern technologies – educational applications, multimedia resources and online platforms such as Moodle and Kahoot, which contribute to the formation of critical thinking, intercultural competence and communication skills of students. The conditions for the successful implementation of interactive learning are analyzed, including the need to train teachers to use digital tools and take into account the individual characteristics of students. The article emphasizes the importance of creating a motivating and flexible educational environment that meets the needs of modern learners. The presented conclusions emphasize the effectiveness of an interactive approach in the formation of professionally and linguistically competent specialists. Additionally, the prospects of introducing gamification, asynchronous learning, and online interaction as a means of increasing student motivation and engagement, as well as developing sustainable language learning skills in the long term, are being considered.
