Abstract
background: modern managers face the challenge of finding relevant employee motivation systems. A comprehensive and relevant approach is needed to measure the nature of their interaction with the workforce in order to create a comprehensive and more effective management system that will result in increased team loyalty, engagement, and motivation, as well as reduced conflict and stress in the corporate environment, leading to improved performance. This necessitates the development of a methodology that can assess the various components of the socio-psychological climate and innovation culture in an organization and their interconnectedness. Objectives. Development and testing of a methodology for assessing the interconnection of different components of the socio-psychological climate and the innovation culture of a work collective. Study Participants. The sample consisted of employees from 20 Russian companies across three industries: information technology, media, and logistics – in total, 200 people. Methods. Based on the analysis of existing research in the field of innovative organizational culture and its relationship with the socio-psychological climate of the workforce, a survey-based methodology was developed. It included 45 items evaluating scales such as: "Talent Management," "Teamwork," "Clarity of Strategic Goals," "Management Effectiveness," "Strength of Corporate (Organizational) Culture," "Loyalty to the Organization," "Quality and Innovation," and "Training." To assess internal consistency (reliability), the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was calculated, and a correlation matrix was analyzed to evaluate relationships between the test scales. To validate the methodology, correlation analysis was conducted with the scales of the socio-psychological assessment of the group as a collective (SPCA) by R.S. Nemov [1]. Results. The developed methodology demonstrates high internal consistency (reliability) and validity. Conclusions. The proposed version of the methodology can be considered as a situational questionnaire for assessing the socio-psychological climate and the innovation culture within a working team, and its application is permissible alongside other methods.
