Панэтнические термины для обращения к испаноязычной группе США: сравнительный анализ

Аннотация

В статье проведён сравнительный анализ панэтнических терминов «испаноязычный» и «латино», которые используются для обращения к представителям их группы США. Выявлены причины их введения Конгрессом. Идентифицированы принципиальные отличия между ними, их достоинства и недостатки, которые вызывают серьёзные противоречия. Дана оценка неологизмам «латинкс» и «латине». Проанализированы альтернативные варианты «чикано», «борикуа», «латиноамериканец» и другие. Кроме того, выявлены восприятие панэтнических терминов внутри самого сообщества и взаимосвязь поколения и причисления себя к этой группе.
