Аннотация
В статье рассматривается процесс формирования группы специалистов по России в аппарате Совета национальной безопасности (СНБ) администрации Джозефа Байдена («русской» группы). В центре исследования находятся персоналии, составившие пул кураторов американо-российских отношений в СНБ, с акцентом на старшем директоре по России. Анализируется функционал «русской» группы СНБ и его роль во внешнеполитическом аппарате правительства Дж. Байдена.
