Аннотация
Статья посвящена исследованию фактора чернокожих избирателей и политиков на промежуточных выборах в Конгресс США 2022 г. и его значению для афроамериканского сообщества в целом. В работе рассматриваются основные причины, способствовавшие падению рейтинга Дж. Байдена среди чернокожего населения в первые два года его президентства, а также меры, предпринимаемые администрацией Белого дома для преодоления этой негативной тенденции. Затрагивается также тема усиления внимания Республиканской и Демократической партий к афроамериканскому электорату в ходе избирательной кампании 2022 г. Наконец, рассматриваются результаты прошедших выборов в Конгресс для афроамериканского сообщества, связанные с оценкой явки чернокожих избирателей, их электоральных предпочтений, а также итогами выступления кандидатов-афроамериканцев.
