Features of consumer cooperation development in the Russian Federation: the role of information support

Medvedeva N.V.

Abstract

Relevance. In conditions of economic pressure and introduction of anti-Russian sanctions, consumer cooperation has all the prerequisites for expanding activities in the food supply sector. At the same time, there is a situation in which the population does not always realize and understand the role of consumer cooperation in the development of the country in the new economic conditions, and the state underestimates the importance of consumer cooperation in supplying the population with food and providing social services. The potential of consumer cooperation remains unclaimed.

Aim. To identify the level of knowledge of citizens about consumer co-operation, taking into account regional differentiation. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that the level of awareness of the population about consumer cooperation depends on the willingness of citizens to take part in it.

Methods. Methods of generalization, document analysis, comparative analysis. The key research method was a questionnaire survey of the population.

Results. Based on the results of an all-Russian study, the degree of awareness of the population about consumer cooperation was identified, and priority sources for obtaining information about it were identified. The data obtained from the survey allowed us to conclude that currently there is an average level of awareness of Russian citizens about consumer cooperation: only about half of the respondents are aware of this concept. The author has identified the relationship between the respondents’ level of knowledge about consumer cooperation and their desire to take part in such practices. The main sources for respondents to obtain information about it are the official media, official portals of the Central Union, social networks/digital communities of consumer cooperation entities, as well as information and news portals containing news from the region.

Strengthening of national identity as a significant factor in the well-being of Russian society

Kokarevich M.N.

Abstract

Relevance. The increasing processes of glocalization in the modern world lead to the emphasis on the uniqueness of each national-state community that actualizes the appeal to the ways of strengthening self- identity.

Methods. Historical-cultural and historical-philosophical approaches, methodology of interpretation and reconstruction of cultural phenomena as actualizations of mental core of this culture.

Aim. To identify the main mechanisms of the crystallization of Russian identity.

Results. The article shows that the main mechanism for strengthening national identity is the relevance of actions in the "challenge–response" system in the space of intercultural and interstate interaction. The latter is based on the prohibition of irony over fundamental spiritual, moral and state values, on comprehension the role of the mental dominants of understanding, absolutism, conci-liarity, kindness as system-forming Russian and, subsequently, sovereign Russian culture, on the awareness of their relative variability in civilizational change, their functioning as filters that set the degree of perception and transformation of cultural-civilizational phenomena in the space of interaction between the states-cultures. Another mechanism for strengthening national dignity is a clear realization of the greatness of our centuries-old history, the role of Orthodoxy as the basis of national self-identity and statehood, implemented in accordance with the following logic: one faith – one people – one land – one state.

Long-term care system as a factor in improving the socio-economic situation of pensioners and disabled people in the Russian Federation

Nekipelova D.V.

Abstract

The increase in the share of the retirement age population in Russian demographic structure aggravates the issues of ensuring a decent standard and quality of life for such citizens. Aspects of not only material support come to the fore (although this is not at a very high level relative to international standards), but also aspects of providing quality medical service, solicitude, assistance and, if necessary, long-term care.

Aim. To assess the impact of the development of a long-term care system on the socio-economic status of people of retirement age.

Methods. Comparative analysis, statistical data analysis, content analysis, generalization and synthesis of data.

Results. The proportion of people of retirement age is increasing, and their financial condition is worsening. To maintain a decent standard of living after reaching retirement age, many pensioners must continue working. At the same time, as people age, age-associated diseases develop, the consequences of which are the need to provide such citizens with additional assistance, solicitude and even long-term care. These services are provided to citizens within the framework of the current health care system and through social protection authorities, however, statistical data indicate a very low level of coverage of pensioners with such services and a high demand for them. The main burden of care falls on able-bodied relatives and friends, which affects their employment. The implementation of a pilot project in certain regions of the country to introduce a long-term care system has yielded positive results in the form of improvement in the physical and psycho-emotional state of both recipients of such services and their relatives providing care. Thus, a conclusion was made about the importance of developing a long-term care system as a permanent part of the social security of older citizens to improve the quality and standard of living, not only for them, but also for their families.

Corporate employee well-being programs: modern approaches and development prospects

Vukovic N.A.

Abstract

The issues of human well-being and happiness have been a priority throughout the history of human development. Modern trends in sustainable development define human well-being issues as one of the most important 17 goals (SDG No. 3 "Good human health and well-being"). At the business and company level, human orientation and human needs manifested themselves in corporate employee well-being programs at the beginning of the 20th century. In recent years, corporate employee welfare programs became particularly relevant in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic and other global challenges and turbulence.

Aim. To analyze modern corporate programs for the development of employee well-being and identify the main trends in their development.

Methods. Methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of scientific publications on human corporate well-being, as well as the method of case analysis of corporate well-being programs of leading global and Russian companies.

Results. Because of the conducted research, the authors revealed a steady increase in scientific publications on corporate policies in the field of employee well-being, as well as an increase in the share of interdisciplinary research. An analysis of successful practices of Russian and international companies shown a predominance at the business level of interest in subjective methods for assessing employee well-being and a high orientation of companies towards practices for the development of social well-being of employees.

Conclusions. Corporate employee well-being programs are an urgent and actively developing tool for personnel management and the effectiveness of the company. A distinctive feature of modern corporate employee well-being programs is an individual assessment of the level of employee well-being with a predominance of subjective assessment me-thods. The assessment of the employee well-being index allows companies to increase the efficiency of social spending and investments. The issue requiring further study on the topic of corporate employee welfare programs, in our opinion, is a comprehensive assessment of the impact of corporate employee welfare programs on business economic results and its effectiveness.

Innovative entrepreneurship risks in the music industry: the context of (post)pandemic media communications transformations

Boyarkina S.I., Kuznetsova E.S.

Abstract

The article dwells on the results obtained via examining risks of innovative entrepreneurship in the music industry. During the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown media communications and digitalization of the cultural sphere were developing rapidly, that provoked spreading of innovative entrepreneurial initiatives in international practice. There were created digital services for online attendance of music concerts that promoted social and cultural inclusion. In Russia this direction is just beginning to emerge, separate projects providing digital services for organizing and promoting virtual concert activities are appearing in the domestic business.

Relevance. The limited knowledge about Russian practices in innovative entrepreneurship and existing barriers to the music industry development.

Methods. A pilot online survey of the digital concerts target audience – representatives of young people aged 16 to 30 years (N=291) was conducted. Expert interviews were held with the organizers and managers of the business project, the LookPort streaming platform, which is the leader of interactive broadcasting and creative streaming solutions in Russia, Great Britain and European countries.

Results. It was revealed that the most significant commercial risks are formed by consumers of new services and are caused by two main reasons. The first is difficulties of mastering technical features and the second is the socio-psychological effects of their use. Limited possibilities of interactive emotional communication do not allow the audience to feel involved in performance and realize their needs for emotional and physical collective expression. The key resources for overcoming emerging risks are the educational and managerial competencies of entrepreneurs, skills of using modern marketing tools to create a positive user experience.

Spiritual indifference phenomenon in the conditions of information and technological expansion

Erofeeva E.V.

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of foreign and domestic concepts of the information society and the impact of information and technological expansion on the personality of a modern person. It is noted that worldwide informatization and technologization have determined new conditions of existence for humans. A person has become more well-read, educated, and versatile, but at the same time there are changes in a person's worldview, in his moral values, which causes an aggravation of the problem of cultural, social and spiritual alienation. In modern society, human alienation manifests itself as spiritual indifference phenomenon, characterized by a state of passivity, self-isolation, social detachment and moral indifference towards other people.

The aim of this work is a socio-philosophical analysis of the spiritual indifference phenomenon in the conditions of information and technological expansion.

A set of comparative, phenomenological and dialectical methods was used, which made it possible to critically comprehend the research problem, trace the pattern of emergence of the phenomenon of spiritual indifference in the context of the expansion of information technology space and, to some extent, predict the consequences of the formation of spiritual indifference within the framework of public life. As a result, it was discovered that information and technological expansion actively reinforces the formation of the spiritual indifference phenomenon, since it creates new conditions of existence for a person, forcing him to spontaneously and repeatedly adapt to these conditions.

In this regard, a person plunges into a state of stress, because he experiences tension from the transience of social processes, which leads to the fear of losing contact with the outside world. Electronic media and communications make it easier to establish relation to the outside world, but this is only an “appearance” of presence, since a person is in a state of loneliness and self-absorption. He cannot directly satisfy the need for community, unity and intimacy through social interaction, since there is no live communication and joint activities aimed at ensuring the common good. As a result, a person involuntarily refocuses on the formation of his own good, which forces him to establish the formal nature of interactions, where there is cooperation, supported by the expediency of his own benefit. Such social ties exclude virtuous human behavior.. Thus, in modern society a new type of personality is being formed, which strives for self-realization through consumption, informatization and virtualization. This phenomenon marks the formation of the phenomenon of spiritual indifference, which is understood as indifference, passivity, self-isolation, social detachment, moral indifference of a person towards others.

ChatGPT and science: interaction between the scientific community and artificial intelligence

Malyarevich D.V.

Abstract

The modern information world is creating new technologies that previously seemed possible only in science fiction films and books and have become a reality. The emergence of generative neural networks, such as ChatGPT, has created a problematic situation in the scientific community and education, which lies in the possibility of ethical use of neural network products in scientific work. A dilemma arose in the domestic and foreign intellectual space, which did not allow determining the place and possible actions applicable in scientific activity.

Aim. To consider modern attempts of interaction between the scientific community and artificial intelligence and to propose a variant of successful communication.

Relevance. The surge in public and scientific discussion about the impact of artificial intelligence and neural networks on the production of scientific knowledge. This article examines the origins of the emergence of generative neural networks and their impact on human activity, including scientific activity. The philosophical view is investigated and criticized, which proceeds from the fact that neural networks are a problem of modern society (N. Chomsky), and a project is proposed to integrate neural networks and artificial intelligence into scientific discourse, based on the methodology of B. Latour and actor-network theory. The article defends the position of using neural network products as a tool for conducting scientific research.

Conclusion. A solution to the problem of interaction between science and artificial intelligence is provided using B. Latour's actor-network theory, which allows us to consider the neural network as an integral part of scientific activity.
